Only masters certified as International Masters will be able to apply for Kukkiwon Dan certificates for their students. This change is effective from December 2024. If you're not a certified International Master, your Dan application will be denied.

Yes, if you hold the rank of Kukkiwon 4th Dan or higher, you are eligible to apply for both the 3rd Class International Master Course and the 3rd Class Poom/Dan Examiner Course simultaneously.

Kukkiwon 2nd Dan or 3rd Dan masters are eligible to apply for the 3rd Class International Master Course. Successful completion of this course will be recorded on your Kukkiwon profile. When you achieve the rank of Kukkiwon 4th Dan, you can then apply to have an International Master certificate issued to you.
